Liposuction is an excellent way to remove areas of fat that remain after you have had success with diet and exercise. Rather than being a method of weight loss, it is a method of body reshaping – after weight loss, or just because you would like to improve your body’s natural shape.

Everybody has a certain amount of fat beneath the skin – it is like the skin’s third layer and functions to insulate us and to support the skin. A good liposuction candidate understands the benefits and limitations of liposuction and has realistic expectations. That means you are not expecting perfection and not hoping to look like some model or movie star.

You would need to have good general health so that your recovery would go smoothly. You would also need to be willing to follow Dr. Hendricks pre- and post-operative instructions. They are designed for your benefit and the best surgical results happen when there is good patient cooperation.
