Board certified in three specialties - Plastic Surgery, General Surgery and Hand Surgery, Dr. Hendricks is well known for the natural appearance of his results. Dr. Hendricks served for over 10 years as associate professor of Plastic Surgery at Loma Linda University and School of Medicine, where he taught the fine points of cosmetic surgery to many of the board-certified cosmetic surgeons now practicing in Newport Beach and Beverly Hills. His students practice in Southern and Northern California and throughout the United States. His dedication to research is reflected in over 200 research publications and presentations, as well as numerous research awards.

EDUCATION

Dr. Hendricks received his M.D. degree and completed a five year General Surgery Residency at the University of Louisville, one of the premiere general surgery and trauma training programs in the country. He then completed both a one-year Research Fellowship and two years of formal residency training in plastic surgery at the University of Pittsburgh.

PROFESSIONAL SOCIETIES

Dr. Hendricks is a member of the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS), which is officially recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties as the only Board whose membership is limited to surgeons specifically trained in a rigorous and comprehensive general surgery as well as plastic surgery residency training program.

Dr. Hendricks is also a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, California Society of Plastic Surgeons, American College of Surgeons, American Society of Reconstructive Microsurgeons and American Association of Hand Surgeons.
